Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. To do so, simply send us an informal message by email. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the point of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you, including profiling based on those provisions. In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects are entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state where they usually maintain their domicile, place of work or at the place where the alleged violation occurred. • If the processing of your personal data was/is carried out unlawfully, you can demand the restriction of the data processing instead of the deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted instead of deleted.
  • If you have lodged an objection in accordance with Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it is not yet clear whose interests prevail, you have the right to demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

Cookies

Websites sometimes use so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called ‘session cookies.’ They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit.

You can adjust the settings on your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies in certain cases or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If you disable cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies that are required for the performance of the electronic communications transaction or to provide certain functions you want to use (e.g. the shopping cart function), are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in ‘server log files’. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

These data will not be combined with data from other sources.

This data is recorded on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error free depiction and the optimization of the operator's website. In order to achieve this, server log files must be recorded.

If you send us enquiries using the contact form, the information you provide in the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not share this information without your consent.

The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. To do so, an informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The information you have entered into the contact form shall remain with us until you ask us to eradicate the data, revoke your consent to the archiving of data or if the purpose for which the data is being archived no longer exists (e.g. after we have concluded our response to your inquiry). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Request by e-mail, telephone or fax

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We will not share this information without your permission.

The processing of these data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, if your request is related to the execution of a contract or is required for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR), since we have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests addressed to us.

We will retain the data you send to us via contact requests until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling the request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected.

To do this, the browser you use must connect to Google's servers. This enables Google to know that our website has been accessed via your IP address. We use Google Web Fonts to present our online content in a uniform and appealing manner. This constitutes a legitimate interest as defined in Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If your browser does not support Web Fonts, a standard font installed on your computer will be used.

For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses take place entirely in the background. Website visitors are not advised that an analysis is taking place.
